Mr. Galletti is an experienced plaintiffs' class action litigator who specializes in consumer protection and antitrust litigation. His most notable Firm contribution to date has been in the multidistrict class action In re Volkswagen "Clean Diesel" Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation, in which a landmark $15 billion partial settlement was reached with respect to 2.0 Liter vehicles. Mr. Galletti remains integral to the litigation over the 3.0 Liter vehicles and against Volkswagen's supplier Bosch.

Mr. Galletti began his legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in its New York City and London offices. He then clerked for the Honorable Peter G. Sheridan, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey, in Newark. He next moved to the plaintiffs' class action firm Bernstein Liebhard LLP in New York City. At Bernstein, he principally represented classes of New York City residential tenants who alleged that their landlords unlawfully deregulated apartments while receiving preferential tax treatment. Mr. Galletti was part of the team that achieved the largest tenant settlement to date, over $173 million, in Roberts v. Tishman Speyer Properties, L.P. And in one individual action, Altschuler v. Jobman 478/480 LLC, as lead attorney, he obtained for the plaintiff $1 million in rent overcharge damages, a substantially discounted prospective rent, and a declaration that the apartment is rent stabilized until vacated. The judgments were affirmed in January 2016 by the New York Appellate Division, First Department. Also at Bernstein, Mr. Galletti represented classes of direct purchasers alleging industry-wide price-fixing conspiracies in several multidistrict litigations.

Mr. Galletti currently lives in Nashville with his wife, Evelyn, and newborn son, Louis.
