Daniel Hull

Attorney

As a child, I watched my father, who is an attorney, make a difference for his clients, and I knew then that I also wanted to be a lawyer. Today, my clients allow me to work on their behalf regarding issues that matter to them. I love being able to make a positive impact on their lives by being present and engaged in their issues when, many times, no one else is. The work I do for them is a privilege.

Daniel P. Hull concentrates his practice in the areas of complex civil litigation; class action cases, including mass tort litigation; employment law; and public utility and eminent domain law. As a litigation attorney, he represents individuals and entities in both state and federal courts, and utility districts across Tennessee as part of BS&J’s well-established public utility practice, begun nearly a half-century ago. Mr. Hull is also experienced in complex products liability and medical malpractice, and has litigated numerous consumer protection matters, including the recovery of money for clients victimized by multi-million-dollar interstate Ponzi schemes.

Mr. Hull is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee, where he attended Dobyns-Bennett High School.  He currently lives in Nashville with his wife, who is an educator, and two children. Outside of the office, Mr. Hull enjoys travel, golf, following University of Tennessee athletics, and attending his children’s school and sporting events.
